25m Indoor pool and steam room upgrade

We are so excited to let you know that the steam room and 25m indoor pool are receiving a makeover!

We are so excited to let you know that the steam room and 25m indoor pool are receiving a makeover! Works will include;• New auto doors and windows• New bench seating to match the leisure pool hall• Monotech flooring to match the leisure pool hall• New lockers• Painting throughout• A major renovation to the steam room and shower areaThe steam room will be made larger, with more comfortable and vibrant seating. Improvements will be made to the steam generators, showers and hot water system thus making the system more reliable.  Works will commence on Monday12 July 2021 and will run for approximately 13 weeks. During term 3 there will be no interruption to service except for some noise, a more narrow walkway under the grandstand and the steam room will remain closed throughout this period. This area will be hoarded off and made safe so we can continue operating the area throughout the school term. The outdoor change rooms will still be available for use, however customers will need to access them via the Leisure Pool external doors.  We will continue to provide updates on the status of the works and can't wait to see the new and improved pool hall.
