Closing Tuesday 9 December reopening Monday 22 December
Unfortunately, a pool filter for the Indoor 25m Pool in our Sunshine Leisure Centre has reached its end of life and requires urgent replacement. We appreciate the timing of this is not ideal, however, works are required to guarantee we have our pools fully operational for the Summer season.
The Indoor 25m pool will be closed from Tuesday 9 December and will reopen Monday 22 December. Our team is working with contractors to complete the replacement as quickly as possible and prepare the pool for reopening.
While the Indoor 25m Pool is closed, we have made every effort to minimise disruption to you. During the closure, we will extend the opening hours of the Outdoor Pool during weekdays from 6am to 8:30pm, and weekends will remain at 8am to 4.30pm. We will be reallocating lanes to the heated outdoor 25m pool to minimise disruption to our users and learn to swim students. During this time we will ensure there are deep and shallow space available for your use.
Due to the dynamic nature of these works, the most accurate way to check lane space is via the Live Lap Lane Availability. The schedule will be updated in real-time to reflect the new lane allocations.
