Outdoor Pool Update

Great news regarding our outdoor pool. Following some minor works to repair leaks and repainting of the lane lines, we have received the go ahead to fill the pool and get it back operating for you this Summer.

The pool has been filling since late last week and it is estimated that it will be full and ready to start commissioning early this week. The water will need to be heated and treated prior to opening and as such, it is expected to be open to the public for our swimmers later this week.

The pool will re-open under our normal November operating conditions, which will be:

• Weekdays 6am-10am, and 4-7pm
• Weekends 8am-12pm.
• There will be a temperature trigger that will open the pool for a full day of operation when the temperature exceeds 28 degrees.

The aquatic programs team may need more lanes in the indoor 25m pool in future weeks. As such, we will also look to extend outdoor pool hours on days where more lanes for swimming will be required.

Unfortunately, we were unable to complete the complete pool lining replacement and tiling works that were required due to a supply issue. Therefore, these works will be completed following the Summer season, most likely in April 2026.
