Spa and steam room update
Sunshine Leisure Centre Spa
We would like to thank everyone for the patience and adapting to a new way of operating the Spa at Sunshine Leisure Centre.
Due to Department of Health and Human Services COVID regulations, the spa is currently operating on a maximum occupancy of 4 people at a time.
In order for the fair and equitable use of the spa for all of our visitors, we have implemented a first come, first served reservation system.
This system is a ticket based system which allows the customer to reserve a 15min time. This is a very similar system to what you might see at a Deli or Bakery.
If you intend on using the spa during your visit please ensure you see the lifeguard when you arrive for the next available reservation time.
Please ensure you return your card to the Lifeguard when you enter the spa.
Due to this limited capacity of the spa, unfortunately from time to time there may be a significant waiting period. We apologize for this inconvenience and aim to remove the restriction as soon as we are able to in accordance with the health department regulations.
We ask all patrons to ensure they act respectfully when dealing with our Lifeguards and all staff. Aggressive, abusive or intimidatory behavior will not be tolerated towards our staff and is never ok.
Sunshine Leisure Centre Steam Room.
Due to Department of Health and Human Services COVID regulations, the steam rooms is currently closed.
We apologize for this inconvenience and aim to remove the restriction as soon as we are able to in accordance with the health department regulations.
It is unknown at this point when DHHS will update their health advice. We are waiting in anticipation just like you and will open as soon as we are able.
We are also planning to use this closure period to renovate the steam room and 25m pool hall. Stay tuned for scheduled dates of works.
